texts that make us think of light.
iluminando espacios is an independent and self-managed publication by lighting artist Jésica Elizondo in collaboration with more than fifty mexican artists, between stage lighting designers and dance professionals. It is the first book in Mexico that addresses the thought of light in the creative process, questioning artistic practices individually and collectively.
This book is a space dedicated to freedom of thought, it is a sensitive space to meet and recognize ourselves, to share our successes and failures, and to continue enabling new ways of looking at the world and those who walk by our side.
All the artists who generously share a few words here do so for the fun of it, to which we thank for their trust and every one of their words.
This project was carried out thanks to the System of Supports for Creation and Cultural Projects (Fonca) through the program of the National System of Art Creators.
